Dangerbird Records - SinglePlayer
Finding innovative ways to control limited distribution of music prior to release.
When the Silversun Pickups were set to release their album Swoon, their label (Dangerbird Records) faced a unique problem. They had a large number of people that needed to preview the record prior to it's release; but they couldn't risk it being leaked to the public. We worked with Dangerbird Records to create a web app called the SinglePlayer. In essence, the SinglePlayer allowed Dangerbird to selectively distribute the album for preview online without risk of it being downloaded/captured. Further, each track on the album could only be listened to once before the application expired the users rights to access the music.

They can take a complex request that’s been worded in whatever fool language you’ve put it in, break it down, get it done and patiently, respectfully explain back to you what you were talking about.
