Rules
The first annual Booyant Wii Golf Invitational will implement the Stableford grading format. A modified version of the Stableford format was used in The International on the PGA Tour and ANZ Championship on the European Tour. In a Stableford tournament points are awarded for a player's performance on each hole. The following table illustrates the points awarded for a given hole:

As indicated, the objective of Stableford play is to obtain the highest score by finishing each hole with the lowest number of strokes possible. A double bogey threshold prevents a single hole from disproportionately affecting a round of play.
In the Booyant Wii Golf Invitational 2010, players will participate in groups of 2. At the end of play on each hole, each team's Stableford equivalent of the strokes incurred will be tallied and recorded as that team's score for the hole. In the event of a player participating without a partner, his or her calculated score for each hole will be doubled, simulating another player of equal skill level.
Teams will compete in tournament fashion where 2 teams compete in each round with the winning team advancing to the next tier. Tier structure and team assignments shall be established at the very last boozey moment before play commences.
